EQUAL ACCESS RESEARCH LAUNCHES NATIONAL DIRECTORY INITIATIVE TO BUILD NETWORK FOR DIGITAL HEALTH INNOVATION

GAINESVILLE, FL., JULY 8TH, 2021 — Equal Access Research is happy to onboard a team of 15 members to build out a first of its kind national network to connect academic institutions across the country together to advance medtech research.

Rachana Kandru has been appointed as the head of the national directory program and will be overseeing the group’s efforts as we build out this infrastructure over the next year. Equal Access Research anticipates there to be a variety of projects and initiatives that can use a network like this as a launching pad to scale once it is fully developed.

“A research infrastructure like this opens up a number of opportunities for digital health/medtech companies as well as community health programs to deploy their technologies at institutions across the country at a far faster rate than ever before.” Ajay Mittal, Executive Director of Equal Access Research.

Our program also looks forward to welcoming University of Virginia School of Medicine in our effort by forming a strategic partnership with the Innovations in Access to Care Conference lead by Zuhayr Shaikh, Tien Comlekoglu, Michael Salomon, and Suzanne Zhou to further propel our initiative.
